Zehnder Group takes over Caladair completely
Zehnder Group acquires the remaining 25 per cent stake in Caladair International SAS. Zehnder had already acquired 75 per cent of the French ventilation company in 2021.
Zehnder is buying the French company Caladair International SAS in its entirety. After acquiring 75 per cent in October 2021, the Aargau-based ventilation and radiator expert will now purchase the remaining 25 per cent of the shares, Zehnder announced in a press release. The purchase price and further details of the transaction will not be disclosed.
Zehnder intends to strengthen its business in the ventilation segment with the complete takeover of Caladair. The Mâcon-based company specialises in energy-efficient ventilation and thermodynamic systems for commercial buildings. Last year, Caladair generated sales of around 15 million euros. This means that the company has developed positively in the two years under the Zehnder umbrella, according to the press release. In the last financial year before the takeover, Caladair generated sales of around 10 million euros.
