New quarter combines living and working
Ina Invest is planning to transform the Bredella West site in Pratteln into a mixed-use district with green living and working spaces. Following the approval of the local population, the district, which is located directly next to the train station, is to be designed in a sustainable and connected way.
Ina Invest can convert the Bredella West site in Pratteln, which is currently used for commercial and industrial purposes, into a mixed neighborhood for living and working: The population of the municipality has approved the corresponding neighborhood plan with 1903 yes votes against 1481 no votes, the real estate company based in the Glattpark district of Opfikon informs in a press release. “We are delighted that the people of Pratteln have decided to open up the currently underutilized Bredella West area and transform it into an attractive, green and lively district,” Ina Invest CEO Marc Pointet is quoted as saying.
The real estate company intends to tackle the transformation of the site in several stages. The plans include “high-quality outdoor spaces and inspiring combinations of flexible, compact and sustainable living, working and residential space”, according to the press release. At the same time, the district, which is located directly next to Pratteln train station, will play a key role in connecting the districts north of the railroad tracks.
