Garaventa Liftech AG, based in Küssnacht, has installed a Genesis type B home lift in a residential building in Zug without making any structural changes, according to a press release. The retrofit installation offers residents greater comfort and accessibility. The Homelift also makes the home future-proof and more valuable, according to the statement.
According to the press release, the vertical transport solution realised in Zug connects the ground floor and garage. No extra lift shaft had to be created for the installation. The self-supporting metal and glass construction was seamlessly added on the outside so that the aesthetics and functionality of the building were not compromised.
According to the manufacturer, theGenesisType B home lift is specially designed for retrofitting and is intended for existing homes that need to be made more accessible with minimal renovation work. It can be adapted to different building types and requirements for new and existing buildings. This makes it flexible and user-friendly.
