Oertli Instrumente builds at the company headquarters
The construction work for a new production and logistics building for Oertli Instrumente has begun with the groundbreaking ceremony. The specialist in eye surgery is investing 25 million francs in this. The new building should be fully occupied in 2023.
Oertli Instrumente , the Rheintaler expert for ophthalmic surgical equipment and consumables, is building a three-story building at its company headquarters. According to a press release , the owners Christoph and Thomas Bosshard, together with mayor Bruno Seelos and Björn Lutze from the executing Bänziger Lutze Architektur AG, broke ground on Thursday.
On a total of 11,000 square meters, the new building is intended to strengthen the infrastructure for the future development of the company from the St.GallenBodenseeArea. "The construction of the Lean Factory we set the foundation for the further development of value creation and growth at the site Berneck," it says on the website of the company.
The eastern of the two new structures is intended to expand the clean room and the production areas for surgical equipment and instruments. The western one is designed for "efficient in-house logistics". In addition, an underground car park, training and break rooms are planned as well as a roof terrace. Both parts of the building will be connected to one another via an inner courtyard and various access zones. The new building should be fully occupied in 2023.
